Hellooooooo….
Back again for a quickie update.
We’ve basically been doing the same old, same old. Few trips to Utah (3 for me, which has to be some sort of record), the usual work and kids stuff, and a couple other wrinkles.
We might be moving! We actually found a house we really like (just down the road, actually) and have put this house up for sale. The house is a little bit larger version of this house (in my opinion) with a much bigger yard, and basically just some more space for our crap. The purchase is contigent on the sale of this house, so it may or may not come to fruition, but it’s exciting nonetheless.
I’ve also been obsessed with the Jazz in the playoffs. I’ve come up to the Energy Solutions Arena twice so far (game 3 against Houston, and this past game 3 against S.A.) and cheered the Jazz on to two big victories. It looks like it’ll take a miracle to get back there again this year, but no matter what happens, it’s been a helluva run.
The World Series of Poker starts up this Friday. I won’t be playing in the Main Event this year (barring some strange and lucky circumstances), but I do plan on playing at least one preliminary event. I’ll keep everyone updated (really) on how it goes.
Lorey is doing well… she’s been busting her butt to get this place spic and span for selling, and the house looks great! Even if we don’t move, this place looks just like new as well. The kids are excited for their new house and have been great sports in helping us get and keep things clean.
Anyways… I’ve been bad again, I’ll be better, blah blah blah. Hopefully we’ll have good house news or poker news coming up soon!
