A Very Merry Christmas!

December 27th, 2005 · No Comments

Well, hello again!

Sorry about the delay. Blah blah blah.. insert the usual excuses here. But, nevertheless, an entry will be posted!

We just returned from a fun trip to sunny Utah (seriously), and had a wonderful time. We were able to spend time with many friends and family, and didn’t have to freeze to do so!

As far as our lives… they’ve been busy! Work has been insane as I think the entire city has some sort of flu/cold/virus/infection. The business of sick people is booming, and I can’t say it’s enjoyable. :) Too many prescriptions is hard to deal with, and we’re getting our butts kicked. Hopefully it’ll turn into a nice bonus, but it’s doubtful it’ll be worth it. Oh well, no use complaining, at least the time goes by fast.

Lorey’s been busy with Christmas stuff, and now that it’s over, I’m sure she’ll go on to the next project (other than the usual kid stuff). She’s a great Mom, and all of us are lucky to have her. She’ll be back up in Utah soon, and from the sounds of it, that’s where we’ll be soon as well. :)

The kids had an amazing Christmas. Not only did they get to spend time with grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins, they were spoiled rotten by all of them with all their wonderful gifts. Ryan loves his doctor set, his guitar, his workbench, and the rest of his toys. Sierra’s happy to follow Ryan around, but she’s enjoying her new baby, her shopping cart, and everything else. These rugrats are lucky to have such loving family support around them and I think it makes them the wonderful kids they are. We couldn’t have asked for two better kids (ok, I’m biased), and are so lucky to have been given the opportunity to raise them.

As for New Year’s… we should have a pretty slow one since I’m working the weekend. Our view of the Strip has diminished due to construction, but I’m sure we’ll check the fireworks out either on TV, or around the area. We’ll be back in Utah in January, so that should be fun as well.

As far as 2006… it’s already shaping up to be a busy one! We have a concert in February, our annual Spring Training trip in March, another concert in April, and that’s just what’s we’ve come up with so far.

I was planning on a 2005 recap, but I think we can sum it up pretty easily:

NO KIDS THIS YEAR! Woo hoo, birth control works like a charm! We’ll have to see what we can cook up for 2006… or 07… or whenever :)

I think I have a few Christmas pictures… I mainly used the video camera so I’m not sure how much I have. Not getting to them tonight, but maybe sometime in 2006 :)

Have a great rest of your holiday, and Happy New Year for 2006!
