Well, we had a great time in San Diego this past weekend. Ryan had a blast in all we did, and we enjoyed every minute of watching him! Here’s a quick rundown of what we did…
Thursday: We arrived in town and checked in our hotel. Nothing too fancy, but a pretty good deal since we could bring pets, and had a refrigerator, etc. We then went to the Padres/Reds game at Petco Park which was awesome! I highly recommend the park to anyone (baseball fan or not) and to boot, the Pads won 8-2!
Friday: Friday was Sea World day. We got up and had breakfast and headed over to Sea World. We ended up buying the “rest of 2004″ pass since it was only $2 more than the regular pass… just in case we want to go back this year. It was a really fun time there. Ryan clapped along with the Shamu show, fed the dolphins some fish, and wore himself out having a good time! We even got video of a dolphin splashing Lorey and Ryan! 
Saturday: Was sort of the miscellaneous day of the trip. We went to the Dog Beach at Ocean Beach so we could take the puppies and Ryan into the water. They all loved it. If it weren’t for so many big dogs and Mattie and Sammie barking at them, we probably would have stayed longer. But, they’ve gotta “protect” us so much that we decided to go. We then went to a barbeque with the neighbors (Patrick, Laura, and Patrick) we came to San Diego with.
Sunday: More beach. We forgot the camera (well, I did) on Saturday, so we wanted to get some pictures of Ryan in the ocean. We did, and then we took off back to Vegas.
Overall, it was a great time and we highly recommend San Diego for anyone looking for a little getaway. Pictures to follow… once I get the pictures out from before the trip.
