Here’s some pictures from the inside/outside of the new house. The above picture is the view of the strip from the office (probably won’t stay this nice due to other construction, but still pretty cool…).
The view into the kitchen (this is the window above the stove for those who have seen the models)
The view into the living room from the kitchen
Kitchen view into the backyard
View into the living room and out back
A view of Mommy yelling at me for taking this pic
The future home of vegasfamily.com (the office)
No, this isn’t Mike’s tub now… it’s the soon-to-be new tub
A very exciting view of the stairs from the upstairs hall
And #2 (a little further back)
As you can see, progress is being made and we’re really excited! Now we’ve just got to get things ready to move… and heaven forbid, throw things away [gulp].
As for other pictures… I’m actually caught up! I need to start shooting some more of the kid and learning not to be such a slacker - especially with the new one coming along.
Speaking of the new baby, we have an ultrasound on next Tuesday so we should have some boy/girl information by then… if we’re sharing.
Until then, I have inventory at work (an annual event) which keeps things pretty busy around there. Done with that on Wednesday thankfully… work is starting to slow down just a little bit. The warmer weather is keeping people outside and not around each other to pass germs back and forth. Bonus for us…
We’ll probably be on our way to Utah as well this weekend… we had one of our close friends’ father pass away, so we’re going to try and head up for the funeral. A quick trip, but worth the time.
In two weekends, we’re going to San Diego as well. We’re going to see the new Petco Park and the Padres play the Reds. Should be a good time, and hopefully Ryan will enjoy it as much as he did in Arizona. He’ll be a regular baseball nut before we know it!
Better not ramble on much longer… it’s getting late and I need to save what little material I have for another entry someday. Until next time…

Will they let you keep the pipes as the railing around the stairs? I think you should really push for that.
