Just a quick update to let everyone know we’re still here.
Ryan’s here with me while Lorey runs some errands and he’s looking to type as well - so if you see some random sentences/words that don’t make sense… blame the kid.
Speaking of Ryan, he’s now learning to walk! He doesn’t get up from the ground to standing, but if you’ll help him to stand, and give him a reason to walk somewhere (like stand about 5-6 steps away), he’ll stumble on over to you! It’s pretty exciting.
He’s also eating like a champ too. Anytime we go out to dinner, he is the best mannered kid you’ll ever see…
…as long as the chow is coming his way. Last night he ate:
* about 6 packs of saltine crackers
* probably a whole roll
* a giant thing of baby food (peas/carrots)
* a container of baby fruit (banana orange medley to be exact)
* a bunch of corn fritter casserole (which he was just stealing off my plate, mind you)
* a little mashed potatoes and a french fry
Fortunately, he worked it all off by playing like a madman once we got home. We’re soooooo lucky to have such a great kid.
As for the rest of us, we’re doing good. Sammie and Mattie are constantly playing and love having each other around. Lorey’s been keeping busy, and work… is work, for me.
The house is going good… we drove by last night and it seems there’s some activity, so hopefully we’re still on schedule for Mayish move-in.
Other than that… just another beautiful day in Vegas. Will post pictures once I start snapping some more. Lorey had the camera in Utah for a week and was pretty busy and didn’t get much taken. So, I’ll try to make up for it.
