New pictures/update

Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve done much of anything here. Let’s see where to start…

* First off - Christmas was great. Had a little bit of trouble getting to Utah (snowed out driving for me, Lorey and Ryan made it a couple days earlier thank goodness), but otherwise a good time.

* New Year’s was slow, but that was nice. We stayed home and watched the fireworks from the balcony. I think last year’s were better, but still impressive. I’ll miss that next year in the new house.

* Speaking of which, in case we forgot to mention it… we decided to go ahead with the house we were debating on. The price went up, but we’ve looked and everything else down here has skyrocketed as well, so it’s worth a shot. Now that we’re actually doing it (and picked out upgrades, etc), it’s getting really exciting! Hopefully things will go as planned.

* Ryan is doing really well. He’s starting to talk a bunch more (he pointed at me and said, “Dada!” the other day which was hilarious), and is really active. We’re so lucky to have such a great kid.

* The dogs are doing great, although Mattie needs a nice butt-kicking every once in a while. She’s going to be a little troublemaker it seems. They love having each other around and they finally left each other alone for a second so they could go to sleep.

* Work is good. Busy as usual for this time of year, but supposedly we’re getting an extra pharmacist which will make my life easier (i.e. I get 5 freaking minutes to eat instead of the normal 30 seconds).
