This Old Vegas Family

A little late, but well worth it, I hope.

Things are going well here. Very busy with the holidays and all, but going well.

Let’s see… Ryan’s been a little under the weather in the last week or so. He had a cold that ended up turning into/being an ear infection. So, he’s been on antibiotics, and he seems to be on the road to recovery. No real huge news in the way of development. Lots of crawling, standing, crashing, but no walking as of yet. This kid is smart, though. Plenty of pattycakin’, jabberin’, and everything else a little rascal can get into.

He also with to his first birthday party. It was another kid’s first birthday and it was a huge party! They had a bouncing castle, barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs, and an all-around good time. You’ll see a bunch of pictures from there…

The dogs are both doing fine. In fact, I think they’re driving Lorey crazy right now playing around in the stuff she’s trying to get done. They love to wrestle back and forth and beat each other down. I’m glad Sammie has Mattie as a playmate so they can wear each other out!

Lorey is doing good. She’s busy keeping up with kids, dogs, families, etc. She’s very excited (as am I) for Ryan’s first Christmas, and she’s doing everything possible to make it a great one.

I’ve been really busy at work. This whole flu bug thing has caught on down here and now everyone thinks they’re sick. I think people are looking for a day off. Oh well… work is work.
