It’s true! Springville is the 2003 4A State Baseball Champs! It was an exciting couple of days, and I was lucky to be able to see my younger bro go out and do what I did 8 years prior.
As I went onto the field after the game (neither one of us were crying, mind you), B.J. whispered to me, “We’re even,” and I knew exactly what he meant. All throughout our baseball playing lives we’ve been putting things up there for the next to top.
First, I made this or that all-star team… he would match it. All-region? Yep. And now a state tournament title! (he also made the all-tourney team, so he topped me there.. 
)
The whole family here is so proud of B.J. and the Red Devils and wish him the best of luck in whatever he decides to do (maybe he’ll get drafted! ).
