Well, we made it through one night in the hospital… can we make it through the next 6,000 or so?
I feel much better… I finally got some sleep - fell asleep near the end of the Utah/BYU basketball game (who won that again?
), and slept for about 5 hours, then woke up with Lorey to help feed Ryan. Then, I got another 3 hours of sleep so I’m good for about a month or so.
Lorey, on the other hand, had the hard job. She got up with the baby a few times (the nurse took him to the nursery for a couple of tests), and didn’t quite rest like I did. Hopefully, now that we’re home, she can get a little more rest and relaxation(?).
Today was uneventful. They took a couple nursery pictures, did some blood tests, finally gave him a bath, and then got us ready to go! Lorey’s OB came to the hospital to give us prescriptions, the pediatrician gave Ryan the okay to go home, and we were on our way to “normal life.”
I’ve put up some more pictures so everyone can see what’s going on. Once again, make sure you pull them up and if you don’t see anything, check the bottom taskbar (call me with questions/problems). We should be home - if Lorey is sleeping, I’ll probably just take messages for her, but if you want to call and see, you can. Otherwise, I’m sure we’ll talk to everyone soon, and don’t worry, more pictures will be on their way!
Thanks to everyone for their love and support.
No wonder Sammie hates the vacuum (it’s not as bad as it looks)
