This Old Vegas Family

Okay, okay… just converting the website.  We’re going to be moving to a different web address.  I like the blogger software, so come read at vegasfamily.blogspot.com instead.  This site will still be here for archives (until I figure out how to convert it as well), so come on over!

…is good!    I suck at blogs, I’m worse with pictures, but things are good. 

I got setup with Skype (the internet video/telephone system) for free and have tested it out with pretty good results.  If you’re interested in chatting via Skype, let me know.  It’s kinda fun, and almost eliminates the need for phone calls.    Okay, okay, probably not that far, but whatever.

So… we took a very quick trip to Disneyland last week.  We left late on Friday and planned on going to the park on Saturday and Sunday.  We had a good time Saturday, but got rained out for Sunday.  So, all in all, it was a quick trip, but fun to take the new car for a spin.

New car?  Oh, that’s right… when you never blog things, people don’t know them.  Interesting.  We ended up buying a Toyota Sienna (i.e. minivan) which if it were a real car, would be totally sweet.  Okay, it’s sweet (yes, I said it), and has a ton of fun features.  I highly recommend it.

What else… hmm… I’ve been playing around with MySpace a little bit since it seems like a lot of family members/friends are way ahead of me on that game.  If you have a MySpace page, let us know and we’ll find you there.

Beyond that, Ryan turns 5 in a couple of weeks.  That’s pretty crazy to think about.  Speaking of crazy… did I mention that Lorey will be 30!  Now THAT is old.  (I get 4 weeks to say that, so it’s all good)

Alright, that’s plenty for this year so far.  :)

I guess we just skipped right over Thanksgiving and went on to Christmas.  Just a quick Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all before I skip out to work (ugh).

I actually have a few things planned for the website (movie clips if I can find my FireWire cord around this mess, pictures, a “year in review,” etc.) which basically means, see ya in February for birthday time.

Who knows?  Maybe a New Year’s Resolution can be to be a better blogger… of course, those are made to be broken
